Even when a vehicle is already tuned from factory, we still are able to improve it. We turned this Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback into a Ralliart KCPerformance version.
We replaced the turbo restrictor by a KCPerformance restrictor to allow more boost without extreme extreme boost spikes. Then we developed a custom KCPerformance stage 1 chiptune to fine tune all the upgrades. We took the SST gearbox and KCPerformance restrictor into account when writing the software.
Then we overhauled the chassis. We placed a full Whiteline upgrade chassis. The front and rear sway bars were replaced by thicker and adjustable ones. The rear sway bar also received adjustable end links. The front strut brace was replaced for a sturdier Whiteline strut brace. The front and rear trailing arms received Whiteline polyurethane bushings and the rear differential also received Whiteline polyurethane.
This resulted in a beautiful Lancer Ralliart KCPerformance with a tight cornering chassis and powerful engine. As you can see, there is always room for improvement, EVEN when your car is tuned from factory. We are currently doing research & development for a Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart turbo kit.
