A couple came to us with the wish to import them a nice luxurious station wagon. After giving them some options, they opted for a clean and beautiful Volvo V70 D5. We picked the car up and imported it. After we checked the vehicle, we noticed some points that needed improvement. We started by replacing the bushings in the front sub frame. Next were the front ball joints an the rubbers on both sway bars. We continued with the shock absorbers and springs. These were replaced by a set of Bilstein B8 Shock absorbers and Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs. Also included in this procedure was the replacement of the top mounts and top bearings. The brakes received new discs and pads. The brake lines were flushed and the old fluid was replaced by new brake fluid. The rims received 4 new tires and the software was updated to a KCperformance stage 1 chiptune. The mechanical components of the car were repaired or replaced by an improvement. Now we focused on the rest of the vehicle. The front bumper, hood and roof were repainted, because they had some stone chips. The telephone unit, board computer and navigation were provided with a Dutch language option. and the rear windows were replaced by privacy glass. To finish the car off we supplied the engine with new oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and interior filter. After all these points on our checklist were done, we felt that we could deliver a car that was up to KCPerformance standards. The customers were very pleased by the looks, handling and performance of the car. The Volvo was simply in showroom condition with some parts replaced by better then standard parts.
