Some cars have an underdeveloped chassis when they are produced. This BMW 320i E93 its handling just wasn't up to par as we are accustom from BMW. The car was also lower in the back than in the front. We modified the chassis to solve the sagging rear-end, give more stability, and prevent excessive tire wear.
The shock absorbers were replaced by a set of Bilstein B6 shocks. These are adjustable to suit the clients demand. The springs were thanked for their service and we installed Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs. The front trailing arms were modified for a better alignment to ensure less tire wear and we mounted a Wiechers Sport strut brace.
Next was the rear part of the chassis. We installed a thicker sway bar for better stability and replaced a worn bushing in the rear sub-frame. To protect all the chassis upgrades we mounted a BMW Bad-Road Package.
The chassis is now tighter and more responsive as before. The car looks better, now that it is lowered and doesn't sag in the rear. The alignment was perfected and we mounted protection for the undercarriage. The owner can now experience the driving pleasure that is expected from this car. After these upgrades it is really, like BMW says, "The ultimate driving machine".
